Hello! I’m Alexa, welcome to my website. I began baking professionally in 2011 but have always found comfort in the kitchen, making cakes and baked goods for friends and family from a young age. I’m classically trained in the pastry arts and graduated from the International Culinary Center’s Soho campus in 2015, and have since worked in a variety of well-established restaurants and bakeries including Jean-Georges and Tartine. Here you’ll find carefully selected items in the shop as well as recipes on the blog that you can make in your own home.

Senior Sous Chef and esteemed member of our tasting panel, Milo, has been with the Poppy team since 2013 and is getting cuter every day. He has a keen eye for design and is a total marketing wiz. He loves treats and might bark at you when you pick up an order.
